Today, May 14, 2002, the Orlando Chapter of SAFE was recognized by the Seminole County Public Schools Dividends Office for being in the top 3 Community Resource Volunteer Programs for the 2001-2002 school year.

S.A.F.E.’s Assistant Director, Joseph McCluan, attended a luncheon today and was presented with a plaque from the Seminole County School Board to recognize the Orlando Chapter of SAFE’s volunteer work.

The Dividends Recognition rewards Dividend school volunteers who have donated over 250 hours of their time in any one school year or have accumulated 1,000 hours time to schools.
