Anheuser-Busch is the global industry leader in promoting responsible drinking and fighting alcohol abuse. We have a vested interest in the responsible consumption of our beers. No company benefits when its products are misused, something acknowledged by the company's thousands of employees who are raising children, living and working in this society, and driving the same highways as everyone else. Alcohol abuse, drunk driving and underage drinking are problems we would all like to see solved.
Since 1982, we've invested more than $830 million in a comprehensive portfolio of more than two dozen community-based programs and national advertising campaigns to promote responsibility and help prevent underage drinking and drunk driving.
The company's efforts to promote responsibility date back to the early 1900s with a series of print ads that carried the tagline "Budweiser Means Moderation." Since then, our responsibility campaigns have evolved with changes in society.
Our current campaign was launched in 2004 to encourage adults to drink responsibly, designate a driver or call a cab if they may have had too much to drink and talk with their children about underage drinking. This clear, concise reminder emphasizes that one of the best solutions to address alcohol abuse is to promote personal responsibility.

The I-95 Corridor Coalition is an alliance of transportation agencies, toll authorities, and related organizations, including public safety, from the State of Maine to the State of Florida, with affiliate members in Canada. The Coalition provides a forum for key decision and policy makers to address transportation management and operations issues of common interest. This volunteer, consensus-driven organization enables its myriad state, local and regional member agencies to work together to improve transportation system performance far more than they could working individually. The Coalition has successfully served as a model for multi-state/jurisdictional interagency cooperation and coordination for over a decade.
