Responsible Choices committee here sponsored a presentation
promoting safety and sound decision-making at the base theater here
April 11.
"Street Smart" is an ongoing event presented by the Stay Alive From
Education program, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing

Easevoli, both firefighter paramedics and SAFE volunteers, were the
two presenters at the D-M event.

presentation on the repercussions of not making responsible

355th Mission Support Group and chairman of the CORC committee.
Based out of Miami, Fla., Mr. Garcia and Mr. Easevoli travel the

"We are not trying to tell the youth what to do," said Mr. Garcia.
"They are already making their own decisions. What we do is show
them a real-life look at the possible consequences of irresponsible
actions."
Colonel Carrell said he expects attendees will have a new
appreciation for wearing a seat belt and will be even more aware of
the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
Mr. Garcia and Mr. Easevoli have also performed Street Smart
demonstrations in Germany, England, Guam and Korea.
